People Craft– Getting Along

Happy Cinco de Mayo.  At our triple block party yesterday, a group of us decided to take Spanish at our local college.  That’s what we decided after having a margarita, but I am determined to learn.  Rob (my husband’s second cousin once removed who is married to Mary Alice) invited the Mexican gentlemen who put in baseboard molding and painted their house.   They brought their wives and kids.

  1. On Friday Mr. Clemente brought his wife, Maribelle, and their kids by our house to show them how it turned out. Rob was so impressed with how his assistant, Armando, vacuumed the house after they finished.

  2. It’s always exciting (and intimidating) to learn something new. At least for me. My daughter and I are learning Spanish together. Our hope is to spend two years on Spanish then move over to French. We’re using an audio tape (CD) program but hope to take actual classes.

  3. Debora, you are so brave. It is so true that it takes real courage to learn something new. I am impressed that you and your daughter are learning Spanish together. Thank you for that idea. I am going to ask my younger daughter is she would be interested in taking Spanish with me. She could help me with it!
