Father’s Day chocolate cheesecake– I’m buying one to serve with the steak dinner (two posts below). Sometimes ya just gotta. I’ll let you know tomorrow if I eat any, ha ha.

Kathleen, it looks like a chocoholics dream, but don’t save any for me. Be a friend. Don’t tempt me!
This looks sinful! I’m allergic to chocolate, but this photo reminds me of a fudgy ‘chocolate’ cake I make with carob. Methinks I should post the recipe on my blog. In the meantime, happy father’s day to your hubby, Kathleen. And as for this decadent chocolate cheesecake… resist as long as you can, then reward yourself for the effort and have one tiny sliver.

Debbie, you are able to eat a tiny sliver, and that proves you are a genuine lady. Kathleen is a P-I-G. I’ve seen her “sliver away” at desserts. That’s why she makes those God-awful concoctions that don’t have many calories– she knows that she’ll eat the whole thing. Have you heard about her Pumpkin Pudding Thing?
Debbie, your carob chocolate cake needs to be posted on your blog (for those who eat like ladies) which does include Mary Alice.
Hey Mary Alice, thanks for reminding me about my PUMPKIN PUDDING THING since I haven’t made it in awhile– yes, yes, it is almost negligible with the calories! Pigs like myself wallow in it. Here it is: you take a can of pumpkin (zero Weight Watcher points) and then squirt in some fat free. low sugar whipped topping (Redi-Wip but NOT Kool Whip– too much sugar) with a couple of Splenda packets. There you have it, a real filler upper with NO GUILT!
Mary Alice, you are so funny! Kathleen, is it true? You ’sliver away’ at desserts? LOL. And, the Pumpkin Pudding Thing… um… is it… good?
~Debbie
Debbie, No, the Pumpkin Pudding Thing is not particularly good. It serves another purpose– almost zippo calories while wanting to pig out!
