Exercise– for Health and Spirit
Yesterday we drove through thick traffic to a marina along Newport Harbor. Going at a snail’s pace, I came to appreciate all the people, young and old, riding beach cruisers. We were passed by hundreds of beach cruisers heading to Balboa Peninsula. The photo below was taken in a bicycle shop in San Diego. Yesterday, those little baskets mounted in front of the handlebars were filled with towels, sunscreen, and water bottles. Yup, you guessed it. The cyclists were in good shape, were saving on gas, and wouldn’t have to fret over parking spaces.

Kathleen, $4+ per gallon for gasoline sure makes bicycle travel more appealing, doesn’t it? Hope you and the family had a great day.
