Eat– for Good Health

When we’re trying to lose weight, we need to have a stash of very low calorie food for afternoon munching.  This is when our resolve weakens.  A Green Bean Salad is filling and so low calorie that you can eat as much of it as you desire.   Boil fresh or frozen green beans until tender.  Drizzle with low calorie Italian dressing and chill in the refrigerator.  If you like a hotter taste, sprinkle on a few red pepper flakes.

  1. My weakest moment is about three o’clock. It seems to be the busiest time in the break room. Sometimes there is a line at the candy machine! I buy a diet coke to go with the other half of the sandwich I’ve saved from lunch.
