People craft– getting along with yourself

Stand tall against osteoporosis.  Keeping your bones strong now can mean better posture and fewer fractures down the road.  No matter what your age, it’s never too late to stop bone loss.  Understand your risk– osteoporosis often goes undetected until brittle bones give way.  A simple test can help determine your risk.  Focus on fitness– keep that skeleton in shape with a long term exercise plan.  Include weight-bearing exercise because it increases bone density.  By the way, stair climbing is a weight bearing exercise! Regulate your diet– healthcare experts recommend a balance of bond-building vitamins, minerals, and foods that include calcium and Vitamin D.  Soy contains beneficial isoflavones. Watch the salt.  It contributes to calcium and bone loss.
