    I’m with you, Mary Alice. Portion control is key. Other than empty carbs, I eat pretty much whatever I want. Once a week I enjoy one small glass of wine.

    When we eat a variety of food, we don’t think about food as much. In our book, GOLD STANDARD OF THIN, we aim for three daily meals and two snacks. Regular meals at set times keeps metabolism up. Having a basic structure becomes habit forming way to tamp down hunger with fewer calories. It’s impossible not to lose weight.
