Eat– for Good Health

This morning I cheated the weather forecaster by going for a swim between rain storms.  I had to because my shoulders and back started aching this morning from not swimming.  This happens to your everyday lap swimmer.   Feeling ravenous, I wanted to eat something substantial but with no more than 300 calories.  A half cup of nonfat refried beans are 100 calories, and egg is 80, tomato salsa is negligible, and a small corn tortilla and 1/4 avocado round this Vaquero Egg with Refried Beans up to 300.

    That rancher’s combination looks delicious. Kathleen, the sun peaked out for just an hour. Lucky, lucky you. Now it’s pouring again and 53 degrees. Where did you go and what was the water temp of the pool?

    I prefer the salt water to chlorine so maybe I’ll go after work if there isn’t lightening and thunder! Good to know the water is warmer than the air.

    Let’s just say our bodies are hooked. Maybe our minds, too, who knows how it works. Exercise is definitely addicting. It’s a good thing.

    We can’t always be so lucky in our muscular structure. I have a flat butt also! But at least it isn’t a wide butt.
