Son Ted who is a Registered Nurse has a hobby in photography, something he started in a serious way about six months ago. He works three 12-hour shifts at a hospital in Los Angeles. They are long days if a commute is on top of them. This and the fact that he has friends in the artist community drove him to move back to the heart of the city. Ted’s new loft space is below, and he will move into it next month. The surrounding neighborhood is the fabric district, very appealing to artists, architects, and entrepreneurs. Loft living has ebbed, and real people have settled in. Ted loves the open walls, a canvas for his photos. Above and behind the kitchen is raised platform with steps, the bedroom.
