Make handicrafts– for fun

Bring a personal touch to a farmhouse motif brunch table with a galvanized watering can centerpiece.  Small details make a casual meal special.  If you like a more rustic look, there are “aged patina” kits at hardware stores.  Or you might find the real thing in an antique store.

Hey, Kiwana. I have a watering can that sits by my front steps that actually holds water. Cats in the neighborhood drink from it. Some at craft stores don’t hold water, but you could place a live plant inside with its plastic container. Or, you could use dried flowers.

Mary Alice, the flowers you suggested are spring-like. If I use dried flowers, I like to pick things in season.

Janessa, I hate to admit it, but I forget to water real plants. Shame on me. Except once, Rob bought this cute cactus. I tried to water it, but it was fake.
