Smothered Pepper Steak is 250 calories per serving but more with rice. Time to prepare and cook is a half hour.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
3 T. flour
4 4-oz minute steaks
Cooking spray, salt and pepper (or Mrs Dash seasoning)1 16-oz package of frozen bell peppers
1 large can diced tomatoes (seasoned type, undrained)
1 T. soy sauce
Dredge patties with flour, seasonings, and brown in a sprayed pan over medium- high heat. Cook 3 minutes on a side. Add peppers, tomatoes, and soy sauce.
Serve over hot rice and add green salad if desired.
