Exercise– for Body and Spirit

In order to get fit fast, our workouts must be consistent.   

Of course we know celebrities often work out two hours a day, but for the average person, this is unrealistic.  Friends, that said, we should be selfish enough to give ourselves some exercise every day.  I swim laps for forty minutes almost every day, and this consistent gift I give myself keeps me balanced.  Other friends go to the gym every day.  Reba Studebaker has an ellipical machine in front of her flatscreen, and she’s on it for thirty minutes at a time.  Fitness experts tell us thirty minutes daily is time effective.  It is long enough to produce a positive hormonal state.  Some new info– long and hard workouts can produce cortisol which is a stress hormone.  We don’t want more stress levels on our bodies.
