People craft– taking care of ourselves

Here are a few tricks to look slimmer this summer.  Confidence is as easy as putting on the right style of dresses.  Choose an A-line that flows around the hips or one with a structured band that nips your waist.  Another style trick is thinning your face by applying bronzer along your jaw to give the appearance of depth.  Keep it to a light dusting to avoid looking like you forgot to blend.

That dress needs a necklace, Kathleen. A simple pendant that lands halfway between your bust and neck draws attention upward. And opt for a thin chain that blends into skin.

I think eyebrows are important for slimming.
Shape your brows. Well-arched eyebrows keep your eyes looking bright, but don’t go overboard. Don’t over pluck! Full brows balance out round cheeks while skinny brows emphasize them. Use an eyebrow pencil to fill in.

I like playing up my lips with a bold color. It creates a pretty focal point. My fave is a deep coral shade, and it works well with a summery wardrobe.

Yeah, hot lips. An updo is nice in the summer, not only for coolness, but wearing hair off the face gives a leaner appearance. Gently pull it into a ponytail that’s inline with the top of your ears. Don’t smooth down hair. The extra volume draws the eye up. If your style is too short for an updo, use a root-lifting spray to achieve the same effect.

Ladies, don’t forget to add shimmer to legs by rubbing highlighter or a sparkly lotion down the center of your legs to make them appear thinner. This illuminating streak reflects light and moves the eye up and down
